Wordpress SEO tips tutorial
Today we will discuss some finer points of SEO for wordpress. Many believe that wordpress is already SEO friendly, while many templates are not many are. We will give you five tips guaranteed to strengthen your presence on the web.
1. Install all-in-one Seo from the plugin section. The mistake most people make is that they enable it but never fill out the other fields. You definitely should spend some time over at adwords looking for the top tags related to your sites themes and plug those into the tag section of all in one seo.
2. Twitter and Twitterfeed=More links leading back to you. Now we’ve all heard the build links back to your site, well its been easily achievable this past year. Set up your blog/site to publish updates on twitter via twitterfeed, its an rss based feeder that notifies your twitter followers of updates. This is great because it associates your tags and content from a top ten ranked site.
3. Avoid paying for themes as most are designed to bring traffic back to the designer. Yes, even after you pay for your theme you are still working for the designer of the theme. The themes we offer here have been reviewed intensely and provide the least external advertising possible. Check the footer and header sections of your theme for any external links and either alter them or get rid of them..stop giving away free links!
4. Proper links: Linking such as www.cinemehaven.com works but is not truly beneficial to you. Format your links as a keyword. For example watch hundreds of free movies. Search engines pick up your link much faster.
5. Find out who is linking to you and why. If its a recommendation visit that site and thank them, contact them for a link exchange its likely in your favor to do so as you can share on topic traffic which google absolutely loves.
